This is week 92.

We were honored to be invited by Zefir7 to talk about our work during their monthly ‘designer's café’ in Zeebelt theatre. Honored because of the many great creative minds that preceded us, but also scared to be grilled. Presenting at Zefir7 means presenting to co-creatives, whom are probably the most critical crowd imaginable.

However, the engaging audience, the great venue and the delicious Indonesian food accounted for a wonderful evening. Moreover, the crowd stayed for a beer afterward. We met some inspiring people and would like to thank Zefir7 for this amazing opportunity!

This is week 90.

After the busy period leading up to the release of the World Press Photo iPad app, the studio has quieted down. Time was spent sorting papers, clearing email backlogs and generally winding down a little.

Not that no actual work happened, not at all. In fact, another project went live just yesterday: a new website for the place where we have our studio, the DCR. One interesting aspect of the project is that it was a collaboration between all graphic designers in the building. Check it out.

The week in which we worked our collective asses off to finish the upcoming 2012 World Press Photo Contest app for iPad. And the week in which we got to taste my latest batch of beer. Extra stout, which seems appropriate.
